Notice of assessment was mailed October 22,2001 and a second notice was mailed in December of 2001. Due to the delinquency, the total assessment plus six months interest is due on May 10, 2002. If this unpaid assessment remains after May 10th, the delinquency must be certified to the Hamilton County Auditor not later than June 1, 2002. The Auditor will then transmit the list to the County Treasurer for collection. After the County Treasurer receives the list, payments for delinquent assessments can only be made to the County Treasurer. The City of Carmel may not accept any delinquent payments at that point.
