If any discrepancies are found on the engineering plans the contractor shall immediately notify the engineer. All proposed spot elevations are the final top of pave- ment, top of curb or final grade elevation. To determine the subgrade elevation required below a proposed finished elevation, see the appropriate detail. Proper precautionary steps must be taken during the entire construction schedule to alleviate such damage to subsoil from heavy construction equipment. All construction methods and materials must conform to current standards and specifications of the Federal, State, County, City or Local requi ;ements, whichever has juris- diction.
