Dear Mr.Browning:
At the meeting held Tuesday,January 29,2013,the Carmel Advisory Board of Zoning Appeals took the following
action regarding the Use Variance(UV)and Developmental Standards Variance(V)filed by you for the property located
at the Northeast corner of Main Street and US 31.
APPROVED: Docket Nos.12120004 UV and 12120005 V: Use Variance for permitted uses in the US 31 Overlay
District to allow a financial institution to occupy 100%of the building and Development Standards Variance for
minimum building height of 38 feet and 3 occupiable floors, 1 floor requested with the Commitments that a financial
institution will be the only permitted retaiUservice use, and that the building will have four-sided architecture.
Please be advised that per Section 30.05.05: Time Limit of the Zoning Ordinance, the aforementioned Variance approvals
are valid for three(3)years.By that time,either continuous construction of the improvements must be underway,or a
written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must have been received and approval granted by this
Department.The expiration date of the approvals is January 29,2016.
