Northfield Dr. Brownsburg, IN 46112 Re: Gunstra - Monon and Main Dear Dave: Per your request, we analyzed the cantilevered deck beams on the above referenced project. The treated, No. 2 Yellow Pine 2 -2x10 beams are 15'-10'/x" long. 1-he overall width of the deck is 12' -3 %2" with the beam cantilevered 4' -2' /z" past the end of the floor truss. Tl ere are a total of 4 beams, with two of the beams connecting to each side of the same truss. The 2x10 that connects to the floor truss is to have a 16d nails at a maximum of 12" o.c. into the bottom chord of the truss. Use 3 -16d nails at 16" o.c. to connect the second 2x10. This concludes the scope of engineering work requested.
