1. Docket No. 12020010 ADLS Amend: Penske Chevrolet Remodel.
The applicant seeks approval to remodel the exteriors of the showroom and service buildings, as well as add new
signage. The site is located at 3210 E. 96th Street:and is zoned B-3/Business, within the Keystone Pkwy Overlay
Zone. Filed by Allen Dresselhouse of.Penske.Automotive.
The petitioner seeks approved to remodel the exteriors of the showroom and service buildings, as well as add new
signage.The building faces will be resurfaced with ACM and EIFS. ACM is aluminum,metal looking material. EIFS is a
stucco looking material.The proposed colors are shades of grey,metal,and blue.Please see the petitioner's
informational packet for more detail.
The proposed Penske signs are well under the variance allotments that were previously granted.
Signage for the big back/northern building:
South Elevation: Requesting 94.65 sq. ft., Allowed: 104 sq. ft. =9.35,sq. ft. left over
Wes Elevation: Requesting 60.85 sq. ft.,Allowed: 104 sq. ft. =43.15 sq. ft: left over
Signage for the small front/southern:building:
South Elevation: Requesting,70.16 sq. ft.,Allowed: 122.4 sq. ft. = 5224 sq. ft. left over
They have approval for 9 identification sigris.'So these 7 should be ok.
Staff's outstanding questions for the petitioner:
1. Are you changing-the ground identification sign?
2. Are you changing the directional signs?
3. What about the existing entrance sign on the-east elevation of the big building?Will anything need to be added to that
side for customer direction?
4: Currently,rooftop mechanical equipment can be,seen on the big back ibuildingfrom the street.How do you
propose to screen that from view from.Keystone Pkwy and 96th Street with this renovation?

The Dept of Community Services (DOGS)recommends that the Committee approves this item, after all
comments and questions are addressed.
