GENERAL NOTES
I THE "GENERAL CONDITIONS OF TI IE CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A SMALL
SMALL PROJECT" (A205,1993 EDITION) AS PUBLISHED BY THE AMERICAN
INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS SHALL HEREBY BECOME PART OF THESE
SPECIFICATIONS AND SHALL GOVT RN THE DUTIES, OBLIGATIONS, AND
RESPONSIBILITIES OF TI IE CONTRACTOR.
2 WORK SHALL COMPLY WITH THE 2003 INDIANA BUILDING CODE AND
THE LATEST EDITION OF THE INDIANA AMENDMENTS AND ALL FEDERAL,
STATE AND LOCAL ORDINANCIS.
3 DO NOT SCALE DRAWINGS. ANY DESCREPANCILS ON THE CONSTRUCTION
DOCUMENTS OR BETWEEN THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS AND FIELD
CONDITIONS SHALL BE IMMEDIATFLY IDENTIFIED TO THE ARCHITECTS
OFFICE PRIOR TO COMMENCING WORK-
4 PLAN DIMENSIONS ARE TO CENTERLINE OF WINDOWS, DOORS AND COLUMNS
5 PLAN DIMENSIONS ARE FROM FACE OF STUD TO FACE OF STUD UNLESS
NOTED OTHERWISE.
6 CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL MEANS AND METHODS OF
COMPLETING THE WORK AS DESCRIBED IN THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS.
7 CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE ALL CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES
WITH THE OWNER PRIOR TO COMMENCING WORK
8 CONTRACTOR SHALL CARRY STATUTORY INSURANCE COVERAGE AND SHOW
PROOF OF COVERAGE TO THE ARCHITECT AND OWNER-
9 CONTRACTOR SHALL WARRANTY THE WORK FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR-
OR AS REQUIRED BY SPECIFICATIONS OF STATE LAW, WHICHEVER IS LONGER
GENERAL ELECTRICAL NOTES
1 CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE DESIGN -BUILD SERVICES FOR THE NEW
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. SERVICES SHALL INCLUDE THE SIZING OF
WIRING, RUNS, AND CIRCUITS; SETTING PANELS, OUTLETS & FIXTURES
2 WORK SHALL INCLUDE REVIEWING SYSTEM WITH ARCHITECT,
AND THE OBTAINING OF ALL PERMITS REQUIRED FOR CONSTRUCTION.
NORTH
FIRE PROTECTION NOTES
1. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDL DESIGN -BUILD SERVICES FOR THE
FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM. SERVICES St IALL INCLUDE THE REROUTING
OF EXISTING LINES TO ACCOMMODATE NEW BUILD OUT, USING
CONCEALED SPRINKLER HEADS.
2. CONTRACTOR SHALL REVIEW PROPOSED PLAN WITH ARCHITECT
PRIOR TO COMMENCING WORK.
3. WORK SHALL INCLUDE THE PREPARATION OF DRAWINGS, REVIEWING
SYSTEM WITH ARCHITECT, AND THE OBTAINING OF ALL PERMITS
REQUIRED FOR CONSTRUCTION.
