ELECTRICAL DESIGN /BUILD CONTRACTOR TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL CIRCUITING OF OUTLETS AND LIGHT FIXTURES. 6. ELECTRICAL DESIGN /BUILD CONTRACTOR TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR EMERGENCY LIGHTING IN SPACE: EMERGENCY BATTERY PACKS OR NIGHT LIGHTS CONNECTED TO EMERGENCY POWER SOURCE IS REQUIRED IF SPACE CONTAINS 100 PERSONS OR MORE. 7. WHERE MULTIPLE SWITCHES ARE REQUIRED, PROVIDE ONE COVER PLATE. GENERAL NOTES 1. ALL CITY & LOCAL PERMITS TO BE OBTAINED BY CONTRACTOR. 2. PROVIDE PLYWOOD BLOCKING IN NEW WALLS FOR ALL WALL HUNG ITEMS INCLUDING MILLWORK, WALLSTOPS, CABINETRY, ETC. ALL WOOD BLOCKING MUST BE FIRE TREATED. ALL WALL HUNG ITEMS THAT ARE TO BE HUNG ON EXISTING WALLS WILL ALSO REQUIRE PLYWOOD BLOCKING. 5. ALL PLAN DIMENSIONS ARE TAKEN FROM FACE OF NEW GYPSUM PARTITION OR FACE OF EXISTING CONSTRUCTION UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. 6. GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FIELD CHECKING ALL DIMENSIONS AND MEASUREMENTS. IF JOB CONDITIONS PREVENT OBTAINING DIMENSIONS OR RESULTS AS SHOWN OR SPECIFIED, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR INFORMING DESIGN /APPLICATIONS, INC. BEFORE ANY CONSTRUCTION IS STARTED. 7. EACH CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY EXISTING CONDITIONS AS INDICATED ON THE DRAWINGS AND REPORT ANY DISCREPANCY THAT MAY OCCUR TO THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR. ANY IRREGULARITIES SHALL BE REPORTED TO DESIGN /APPLICATIONS, INC., FROM THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR. 8. SHOP DRAWINGS OR CATALOG CUTS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO DESIGN /APPLICATIONS, INC. FOR APPROVAL, ON ALL MATERIALS OR ITEMS IF THE CONTRACTOR CHOOSES TO DEVIATE FROM THAT SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS OR IF THE DRAWING DOES NOT INDICATE A SPECIFIC MANUFACTURER OR MODEL NUMBER. 9. GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL EXPEDIATE PREPARATION AND SUBMITTAL OF ALL SHOP DRAWINGS TO ALLOW SUFFICIENT TIME FOR FOR CHECKING, FABRICATION, AND /OR ORDERING AND DELIVERY OF MATERIALS & EQUIPMENT. 10. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR OVERSEEING THAT ALL MATERIALS AND LABOR SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE BEST QUALITY STANDARDS OF THE RESPECTED TRADE.
