HomeMy WebLinkAbout0815.93.5a 792)( I ARCHITECTS WOMMMD GENERAL NOTES The performance of work indicated shall comply with all State and Local Regulations and the Contractor shall obtain the necessary permits indicating compliance. See Situation Survey, Drawing L141, for existing conditions and Benchmark data. It shall be the responsibility of the general contractor to bear any and all expenses to remove, relocate, and /or modify, in anyway, all unknown subdrains and utilities, public or private. It further shall be the responsibility of the general contractor to verify with each utility whose responsibility it is to remove, relocate, and /or modify such utilities existing or proposed by these plans, or future utilities proposed by others. The utilities and subdrains indicated on these plans may not be a complete inventory of all the existing utilities present. The location and size of these utilities are approximate based on information gathered or supplied to CSO /Architects. CSO /Architects shall not be liable for any incorrect or misleading utility information indicated or not indicated on these plans. Prior to commencing construction, the contractor shall verify existing conditions and advise the architect of discrepancies which may affect the proposed design. Strip topsoil from entire,site to be disturbed by construction operations or material storage and stockpile where directed. Unless otherwise indicated, strip vegetation within the construction limit line and dispose of off -site. ` Pipe lengths indicated are for hydraulic design purposes only and thc- contractor shall be responsible for actual lengths required to complete the installation as indicated. Remove all site appurtenances not otherwise indicated to remain or necessary for the continuous operation of existing facilities. Removal of existing asphalt pavement indicated oa plans shall include all aggregate base and subbase materials. Saw cut all areas. All cuts shall be clean, neat and true to line. Remove all non - organic or toxic matter that would interfere with proposed planted materials. Replace excavated area with a minimum of 4" of approved topsoil. All areas where the existing pavement or pavements are damaged during construction from traffic by the "General Contractor, Subcontractor or Suppliers, these areas shall be reconstructed and paved at least to its original condition after the construction work is completed.
