We offer the following additional comments: CONSTRUCTION DRAWING REVIEW COMMENTS I. Previous Comment 4 of a letter dated August 30, 2012. Please omit Sheet C6.0p, Landscape Plan; and Sheet C7.0p, Site Lighting Plan, from construction sets to be submitted for review by this department. The Department of Engineering does not have approval authority over landscape plans or site lighting plans. The Department repeats this comment. In addition, please omit Sheet C6.1, Landscape Details. 2. Previous Comment 6 of a letter dated August 30, 2012. Please add the following note to the drawings: "IF IT WILL BE NECESSARY TO RELOCATE EXISTING UTILITIES, THE EXPENSE OF SUCH RELOCATION SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE DEVELOPER. ALL UTILITY POLES SHALL BE LOCATED WITHIN ONE FOOT OF THE PROPOSED RIGHT -OF- WAY." The Department repeats this comment. 3. Previous Comment 7 of a letter dated August 30, 2012. Please add note stating "NO EARTH DISTURBING ACTIVITY MAY COMMENCE WITHOUT AN APPROVED STORM WATER MANAGEMENT PERMIT" to construction set. The Department repeats this comment. 4. Previous Comment 9 of a letter dated August 30, 2012. Please clearly mark all construction limits. Please clearly mark the construction limits on all plan sheets. 5. Previous Comment 16 of a letter dated August 30, 2012. Please indicate a 50 -foot half right - of -way along Carmel Drive consistent with the Thoroughfare Plan. The Department repeats this comment. 6. Previous Continent 18 of a letter dated August 30, 2012. City standard Commercial Drive entrances shall be provided. Please indicate on the plans and provide the City standard Commercial Driveway and Depressed Curb details. The Department repeats this comment. 7. Previous Comment 22 of a letter dated August 30, 2012. All sidewalks within the public right -of -way shall meet the City standards. Please provide the City standard sidewalk detail. The Department repeats this comment. 8. Previous Comment 23 of a letter dated August 30, 2012. All proposed ADA ramps within the public right -of -way shall meet the INDOT specifications for ADA ramps. Please provide the INDOT standard details. The Department repeats this comment. 9. Previous Comment 24 of a letter dated August 30, 2012. City standard curb is required for all curbing. Please indicate on the site plan, include the appropriate City standard curb details, and the City's Curbing Policy in the plans. The Department repeats this comment. 10. Previous Comment 26 of a letter dated August 30, 2012. Curb along Keystone Way shall be demolished to the nearest joint during the construction of any new drives. The Department repeats this comment. Previous Comment 27 of a letter dated August 30, 2012. Please ensure that all improvements remaining from the previous entrance to the site off of Carmel Drive are removed. Please call out this statement on the demo plan. The bollards should be shown as being removed as well. 12. Previous Comment 28 of a letter dated August 30, 2012. Please include a Maintenance of Traffic Plan, meeting all requirements of the Indiana Department of Transportation Work Zone Safety Manual current edition, for the construction of the entrances. The Department repeats this comment. 13. Previous Comment 33 of a letter dated August 30, 2012. Please provide the local flood routing through the site (all inlets plugged during a 100 -year storm event). The Department repeats this comment. 14. Previous Comment 34 of a letter dated August 30, 2012. Please provide the MFPG and MLAG for the building. The MLAG has still not been provided. The MLAG shall be equal to the MFPG for this site. The FFE shall be set 6 inches higher than the MLAG. 15. Note 17 on Sheet 1 of 2 of the land survey states, "Based on contact with the City of East Point Right of Way Department there are no current or proposed changes in street right of way lines ". This is an inaccurate statement. 16. All storm structures proposed to be constructed within the City right -of -way shall be reinforced concrete pipe. 17. Please remove the standard concrete curb detail. 18. Please edit the "Concrete sidewalk wl monolithic curb" detail to meet the City's standard for straight concrete curb with a 22 -inch depth. 19. Board of Public Works and Safety approval is required for the modification to the southern curb cut. If you have questions, please contact me at 571 -2441.
