5. Proposed condition curve numbers have been revised to be the next less infiltrating
capacity category as compared to the existing condition curve numbers.
6. Both ponds have a 12" outlet pipe with a 6" restrictor plate orifice at the pond outlet.
During the 10-year storm event, the developed release rate is not lower than the
allowable, but since the minimum orifice size is 6", the developed release rate is
accepted. During the 100-year storm event, both ponds could have a larger than 6"

orifice in the restrictor plate and have the developed release rate still lower that the allowable
release rate. Each pond outlet will have a 6" outlet however, in order to lower the developed
release rate of the 10-year storm event. Therefore during the 100-year storm event, both
ponds are slightly over-detaining what they are required to.
7. The City of Carmel Engineering Department has stated that the limits of the topographic
survey will be sufficient. An exhibit showing the offsite drainage path from 2' Hamilton County
GIS contours for Pond 1 has been inserted into the drainage report.

Please note that the lot configuration for Lots 10, 11, and 12 was modified. Please note that the storm
sewer system along the east property line was modified to achieve cover over the storm sewer pipes
along the property line without significant fills. The drainage report has been revised to reflect the
small change in watershed routing and is being submitted for review. Some minor grading revisions
have occurred to achieve earthwork balance impacting some storm sewers in Section 2 & 3.
Revised construction plans are being submitted to all TAC agencies for final.review.
The developer would_like to secure approvals as soon as possible.to_prepare Sections 2 & 3 for
infrastructure construction this winter/spring. Paving will occur in the spring.

revised to reflect your comments regarding the 10 foot perimeter landscape easement A Tree Protection fence has been shown along
the Landscape easement line, with a silt fence just inside. The hatching that indicated seeding within the easement has_been_removed.
After reviewing the landscape plans, the trees identified as being saved within Section 2/3 now have tree protection fencing around
them on sheets C103-C106. A typical tree protection fencing detail is located on sheet C803, and the fence symbol has been added to
