HomeMy WebLinkAboutCSO Architects - Parcels 5 & 7 (Carmel City Center Improvements) - $55,00051 CSO PROGRAMMING • PLANNING • DESIGN March 14, 2005 Mr. Les Olds, Director Carmel Redevelopment Commission One Civic Square Carmel, IN 46032 RE: Parcels 5/7 Improvements Carmel City Center CSO #24253HC Dear Mr. Olds: On behalf of CSO Architects Inc., I am pleased to present this proposal to provide architectural and project management services to the Carmel Redevelopment Commission for additional improvements to Parcel 7 and Parcel 5 for the Carmel City Center. These services will be provided under the contract for professional services dated 12 -29 -2000 between the Carmel Redevelopment Commission and CSO Architects, Inc. This project includes the following: • Relocation of the Monon Trail • Preparation of the Cinergy Underground Electrical Route • Relocation of the Sanitary Sewer along Range Line Road • Removal of existing utilities on Parcel 5 • Relocation of City Fiber optic lines along the Monon • Introduction of Telecommunications conduit at the perimeter of the parcels and along the Monon Trail The scope of services provided by CSO Architects, Inc. will include the following: • Coordination of Survey procurement. • Construction Documents of improvements for public bidding through the Construction Manager • Coordination of Bidding Phase including public advertisements, distribution of documents, response to questions during bidding, and review of submitted bids for conformity to requirements • Coordination of work with and the Redevelopment Commission and Construction Manager. • Review of shop drawings • Site observations to ensure that the project is constructed in accordance with the construction documents T 317.848.7800 • F317.574.0957 • www.csoinc.rlet • 280 East 96th Street, Suite 200 • Indianapolis, IN 46240 . We would expect the cost of our services to not exceed $50,000 based on the scope of work as currently understood. Reimbursable expenses will be billed according to the attached price list. These expenses should not exceed $5000. If we anticipate that the cost of our services will exceed the amounts listed above due to unforeseen conditions or changes, we will contact you to receive approval prior to beginning work.
