These areas are designed to provide for flexibility in design but at the some time give some uniformity of color. Other perennials may be approved on an individual basis during the design and approval process through the review board. Each 5'x10' tree planting area should have the minimum of 20 perennials of at least quart size at time of planting. Perennials should be from the following list unless approved by the review board. Because of the shading from the trees at least 10 plants should be "shade loving" more from this group are permissible. Plantings may be supplemented each spring with annuals of the same colors (no reds) as perennials. Any type of spring bulbs are permissible INCLUDING RED COLORS.
