GENERAL SITE NOTES:
1. ALL GRADES AT BOUNDARY SHALL MEET EXISTING GRADES.
THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE TP OBTAIN WRITTEN
PERMISION FROM ADJACENT PROPERTY OWNERS FOR WORK
TO BE PERFORMED WHICH ENCROACHES ON COMMON
PROPERTY LINES. i
2. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL TAKE SUCH PRECAUTIONS AS ARE
NECESSARY TO PREVENT EROSION AND SILTING OF OFF -SITE
STREAMS DURING CONSTRUCTION OF THE VARIOUS PHASES OP
THE PROJECT. STRAW BALE DAMS, SODDING AND /OR SEEDING
SHALL BE USED.
3. PROVIDE TOP SOIL AND FINISH GRADE, READY FOR SEED, FOR
THE ENTIRE DISTURBED SITE.

4. TREES, STUMPS, BRUSH AND DEBRIS SHALL BE REMOVED BY
THE CONTRACTOR BEFORE GRADING.
5. IT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR
TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY BARRICADES AND OTHER MEANS OF SITE
PROTECTION THROUGHOUT THE PERIOD OF CONSTRUCTION.
6. IT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY
ALL EXISTING UTILITIES AND CONDITIONS PERTAINING TO HIS PHASE
OF THE WORK. IT SHALL ALSO BE THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO
CONTACT THE OWNER OF THE VARIOUS UTILITIES FOR A PROPER
STAKE LOCATION OF EACH UTILITY BEFORE WORK IS STARTED.
THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE OWNER OR THE
ARCHITECT / ENGINEER OF ANY CHANGES, ERRORS OR OMISSIONS
FOUND IN THESE PLANS OR IN THE FIELD, BEFORE ANY WORK IS
STARTED OR RESUMED.
LANDSCAPE NOTES:
1. Plant trees & shrubs at
same depth as grown in
nursery.
2. Remove burlap only from top
of ball on balled & burlap plants.
3. Excavate entire bed area of shrub
$ ground cover beds and fill with
top soil mixture.
4. Landscape Contractor to verify
all utilities & conditions pertaining
to this work.
5. All planting materials are to be
guaranteed for one growing season.
6. For soil preparation, spread 12 -12 -12
commercial fertilizer at the rate of 10
pounds per 1000 s.f. Mix into top
1 1/2 inches of topsoil prior to
seeding or sodding.

10. ALL WATER SERVICE LINES TO BUILDINGS SHALL HAVE A SHUT-
OFF VALVE IN AN ACCESSABLE LOCATION OUTSIDE THE BUILDING.
11. SANITARY CLEANOUTS TO BE INSTALLED ON BUILDING LATERALS.
CLEANOUTS TO BE 5' 1 FROM FOUNDATION, OR AS SHOWN
ON PLANS.
12. EXPANSION JOINTS ARE TO BE PLACED AT ALL WALK INTER-
SECTIONS $ AT 20' -0" O.C. MAXIMUM.
CONTROL JOINTS ARE TO BE TOOLED INTO WALKS AT 5' -0" O.C.
MAXIMUM.
7. Planting soil mix+:are:
3 parts top soil!
1 part course sand
1 part peat mo$s
8. Nutrients per cpbic yard:
