4. Wood truss shop drawings
are to include stress
diagrams.
5. All rough openings in
walls of 3' - 4" or less
to have a double 2" x 8"
wood header, of 3' - 4"
to 6' - 4" to have a
double 2" x 12" wood
header, unless otherwise
indicated on plans.
6. All load bearing openings
shall have a structural
header of (2) -2" x 12's
with a continuous glued
and nailed 1/2" plywood
spacer, except as noted.
7. All headers over openings
shall have solid stud
bearing and adjacent
continuous stud support"
at each end.
8. Frame all corners and
intersections of stud
walls and partitions with
three or more studs.
9. Set all horizontal or
sloped members with crown
up.
.10. Install all plywood
sheathing and flooring
with face grain perpen-
dicular to supports and
continuous over at least
two supports.
11. Minimum lapping of wood-
joists over supports is
to be 6 inches.

cross bridging (2" x 3"

height or 10 feet in
length.
16. Cutting and notching of
structural wood framing
members shall be in
accordance with U.B.C.
2517 (d) and (g) .
17. All members carrying
concentrated loads shall
be designed in accordance
with U.B.C. 2304 (C).
