A. IT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH CONTRACTOR
TO VERIFY ALL EXISTING UTILITIES AND CONDITIONS PERTAINING
TO HIS PHASE OF THE WORK. IT SHALL ALSO BE THE
CONTRACTORS RESPONSIBILITYTO CONTACT THE OWNER
OF THE VARIOUS UTILITIES BEFORE WORK IS STARTED.
THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY IN WRITING THE OWNERS
OR ENGINEERS OF ANY CHANGES, ERRORS OR OMISSIONS
FOUND ON THESE PLANS OR IN THE FIELD BEFORE WORK
IS STARTED OR RESUMED.
B. NO ROOF DRAINS, FOOTING DRAINS AND/OR SURFACE
WATER DRAINS MAY BE CONNECTED TO THE SANITARY
SEWER SYSTEM, INCLUDING TEMPORARY CONNECTIONS
DURING CONSTRUCTION.
C. NO TRAFFIC WILL BE ALLOWED ON PREPARED SUBGRADE
PRIOR TO PAVING.
D. ALL PIPE OR DRAINAGE STRUCTURES IN TRENCHES UNDER
PAVED SURFACE SHALL BE BACKFILLED WITH GRANULAR
MATERIAL AND COMPACTED BY APPROVED METHODS.
E. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING
ALL STATE, CITY, AND COUNTY PERMITS AND PAYING ALL

F. EXISTING UTILITIES ARE SHOWN APPROXIMATE ONLY.
CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY LOCATION, SIZE, MATERIAL
AND DEPTH WITH RESPECTIVE OWNERS AND SHALL
PROTECT THE UTILITIES AT ALL TIMES.
G. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL INSTALL AND/OR CAUSE TO BE
INSTALLED ALL EXTERIOR UTILITIES AND SHALL PAY ALL
COSTS AND FEES NOT BORNE BY THE LOCAL UTILITIES.

H. WHERE WATER LINES AND SANITARY SEWERS CROSS AND

WITH A MINIMUM OF 18 INCHES VERTICAL CLEARANCE, THE
SEWER MUST BE CONSTRUCTED OF WATER WORKS GRADE
DUCTILE IRON PIPE WITH MECHANICAL JOINTS WITHIN 10 FEET
OF THE WATER LINE.
