RE: Ricker’s Convenience Store at Legacy
Dear Mr. Carter:
We have reviewed the construction plans submitted to the Hamilton County Surveyor’s Office
on May 29, 2013, for this project and have the following comments:
1. The proposed project falls in the incorporated area and MS4 jurisdiction of the City of
Carmel.
2. The proposed project DOES fall in a Carmel Wellhead Protection Zone.
3. The proposed project does fall in the Tunis Garard Regulated Drain Watershed.
4. Please submit an outlet permit for the indirect discharge to the Tunis Garard
Regulated Drain. The application is available at Surveyor's Form Page.
5. Stormwater detention is provided as part of the Legacy master drainage plan.
6. Please show Arm 3 of the Tunis Garrard Regulated Drain and the associated 75’
statutory easement in the construction plans.
7. Please see the included letter from the Hamilton County Surveyor in regards to
placing a gas station at this location and the relationship to the major water supply for
a large portion of Hamilton County.
8. Please submit revised construction plans/drainage calculations after all TAC agency
comments have been addressed.
