Dear Mr. Kilmer:
At the meeting held Tuesday,May 28, 2013,the Carmel Advisory Board of Zoning Appeals took the following action
regarding the Developmental Standards Variances(V)filed by you for the properties located at 3738,3740,3742,and
3746 West 98th Street.
APPROVED:Docket Nos.13030017 V, 13030018 V,13040023 V,and 13040024 V: Development Standards Variances
for foundation plantings;peripheral plantings(eliminate north buffer); number of signs(2 proposed, 1 allowed)and sign
not facing public right-of-way.
Please be advised that.per Section.30.05.05: Time Limit of the Zoning Ordinance,the aforementioned Development
Standard Variance approvals are valid for three(3)years. By that time,either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway,or a written request for a one-time,six-month extension of the approval must have been
received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approvals is May 28,2016.
Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
