Dear Property Owner:
The City of Carmel Board of Zoning Appeal will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday May 28th, 2013 at
6:00 p.m., in the City Hall Council Chambers, One Civic Square, concerning the following zoning
amendment:
140 Fourth Street NW located at the North west end of Fourth Street west of First Avenue NW.
Ordinance 23D.03 C 1 E: The location of a detached garage must be a minimum of 5' -0" behind the
primary residence. The layout of the property will not allow for a garage to be built behind the primary
residence. To allow for a detached garage to be built, we propose to place it to the east of the primary
property (see attached plot plan).
25.01.01 B 5: We propose to increase the maximum square footage from 720 sf to 864 sf which will
allow for a three bay garage.
All persons having an interest in these matters are invited to attend and make their views known at this
