the foregoing Notice of Public Hearing Before the Board of Zoning Appeals of the City of
Carmel, Indiana, regarding Docket Number 13040010 SU scheduled for public hearing on
Monday, June 24, 2013 at 6:00 pm, was mailed by certified mail, return receipt requested, to

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE
CARMEL BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
Docket Numbers 13040010 SU
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals, will conduct
a meeting on the 24th day of June, 2013, at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers, City Hall, One
Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana 46032, to hold a Public Hearing regarding the application,
identified by the Docket Number referenced above, requesting Special Use approval to allow the
construction of a church.
The Special Use request pertains to Section 5.1 of the Legacy PUD (Ordinance 2 -501-
07), which identifies a church as a Special Use in the Neighborhood Residential Use Block in
Exhibit 14 (the "Special Use ").
The real estate made the subject of the Special use is generally located west of and
adjacent to River Road, is approximately 1,200 feet south of 146th Street in Carmel, Indiana, and
is part of the land assigned property tax parcel number 17- 10- 23- 00 -00- 001.003 (the "Real
Estate "). The Real Estate is presently zoned per the Legacy PUD Ordinance, is approximately
seventeen and eight/tenths (17.8) acres in size and is outlined on the attached site location map.
The application is identified as Docket Number 13040010 SU and copies of the request
and accompanying plans are on file for examination at the Department of Community Services,
One Civic Square, Carmel, IN 46032, telephone (317) 571 -2417.
All interested persons desiring to present their views on the above proposed Special Use,
either in writing or verbally, will be given an opportunity to be heard at the above - mentioned
time and place. Written comments filed with the Department of Community Services prior to or
at the Public Hearing will be considered, and oral comments will be heard at the Public Hearing.
The Public Hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
