We have reviewed the prints for 116th Street Center and have some corrections to your plans listed below. Also, listed are our
standard specifications we the City Utility require. As-builts, which include both sewer collection and water service
measurements are to be mined into the distribution and collection office at the time the water is due to be turned on. Please
send those as-builts to the following address: 130 Iat Ave. S. W. Carmel, IN 46032. Use a 6' piece of PVC pipe to mark the
water service stub.
We will need 2 sets of paper/hard copy as-builts as well as 2 copies of electronic as-builts on a CD. These CD drawings
must include streets, lots, water mains, valves, sewer mains, manholes, laterals and service lines.
The developer's contractor shall be billed for all bacteriological lab services.
For Water Service and Sewer Lateral Installation: Locate the middle of the Lot and install Water 5 left of that line
and Sewer 5' right.
All Ductile Iron watermains shall be bedded in sand, from the bottom of the trench to 12" above the pipe.
Posi-Caps or the equivalent are now required on all water valve installations. You will need to call for an on site meet with
the inspector. You will also need to have an approved stamped set of prints before starting any construction. Tracer wire must
be installed with all water main laid in Carmel. Warning tape must be installed 12" to 18" above the water main. We also need
a detail sheet that includes a restraint joint chart.
Sewer Corrections:
Water Corrections: The layout has been approved. However, pipe mast be bedded in sand 12" above the pipe. For 1 1/'2"
taps saddles are not allowed you must use wrap around clamps.

Property is located in the City of Carmel, Hamilton County, State of Indiana, hereby grants,

WHEREAS, the foregoing Grantor having filed with the City of Carmel, Indiana ("City"), its

Dear Dick:
Please submit the following information to the Board of Public Works and Safety for water
availability fee approval. The water availability fees of $2,292.70 for the proposed subject
development are based upon 2.27 acres at $1,010.00 per acre, the site area of 2.41 acres less
0.14 acres for the proposed right of way to granted. See enclosed land descriptions.
The intended use for this parcel is for a vadety retail aspects. At the present time, definitive
uses have not been determined. As indicated on the enclosed plans, the north building will be
7,600 square feet and the south building will be 23,020, totaling 30,620 square feet. The initial
water connection fee of $40,112.20 is based upon 30.62 EDUs( I EDU per 1,000 square feet of
retail) at $1,310.00 per EDU.

the Board of Public Works and Safety for subject project. As indicated on the

Road.
The proposed 30,620 square foot development proposes to utilize a drive along 116th Street
and a drive along Guilford Road. Aisc, a temporary construction entrance is proposed to utilize
the existing driveway serving a residence scheduled for demolition.
