REMOYAL OF TREES A. Ali tr�s and stumps from areo to be xcupied by a road surface oreo. Trees and stumps shall not be buried on site. 3. PROTECTION OF TREES A. The Contractor sholl, ot the direction of the Developer, endeavor to save and protect trees of value and worth which do not impoir construction of improvements as designed. B. In the erent cut or flll exceeds 0.5 foot over the root area, the Developer shall be consu�ted with raspect of protective measure to be taken, if any, to preserve such trees. 4. REMOVAL OF TOPSOIL A. All topsoil shall be removed from ail areas to be excavated or fllled. Topsoil shoutd be stared at a location where it wili not interfere with construct�on operations. The topsoil shali be free of debris and stones. 5. U11U11ES A. Rules and regulotion goveming the respective utiiity shall be observed tn executing all work under this section. B. It sh�l be the responaibility of the Contractor to determine the location of existing underground utiliiles 2 working days prior to canmencin� work. For utility locations to be marked call Toll Free 1-800-382-5544 within indionc or 1-500-428-5200 outside Indiane. 6. SIIE GRADING A. Do all cutting, tiliing, compocting of Rlis and rough grading requirad to b�ing entire project arec to subgrade as shown on the drawing. B. The tolerance for paved areps shall not exceed 0.10 feet above established subgrade. AIl other areas shall not exceed 0.10 feet plus or minus the estoblished g�ade. Provide roundings ct top and bottom of bcrtks and other brecks in grade. C. The Engineer shaii be notifled �vhen the Contractor has reached the toi�ance as stated above. so that field measur�nents and spot elevations can be verifled by the Engineer.
