1. Loft
a.) There was staining and corrosion on the carpet tack strip under the west
duplex windoTM at the time ofthe investigation, The staining and
corrosion were likely the result of water intrusion from an improperly
flashed windoTM.
2. Bedroom No. 2
a ) There was minor staining and corrosion on the carpet tack strip at the
northeast comer at the time of the investigation. ~he source of the
staining and corrosion Was not discernible at the time of the investigation.
b.) There was no evidence of water intrusion on the carpet tack strip under the
east window at the time of the investigation.

a.) There was staining, corrosion, and ants on the carpet tack strip under the
west triplex window, which extended to the Foyer area at the time of the
investigation. The staining and corrosion were likely the result of water
intrusion from an improperly flashed window.
b.) There was water staining on the drywall under the south end of the west
triplex window at the ti~e of the i~vestigation. The water staining on the
drywall was likely the result of water intrusion from a leaking window.

1.) The Homeowner stated that efflorescence had been observed on the brick
at the northeast comer of the Kitchen. There was minor evidence of water
intrusion evident in the mortar joints on the northeast comer of the
Kitchen at the time of the investigation.
There was no fungal growth noted on the interior of the residence. There was fungal
growth noted on the exterior of the residence during the investigation.
Anderson Window Company manufactured the windows for the residence.
Following is a list of the Engineer's recommendations for remediation of this house:
