The Department was direcflv involved in the plannin�process that has resulted in this Stud�Report. A combination technical_discussion and public input supported this process. We, also feel the recommendat'ions are consistent with the land use plan for Carmel Clav Townshi�, and represent an enli�htened view of:trans,portation plannin�. �The_im�ovements, which would result when implernentinQ the recommendations would. be complementarv to the Gommunitv's land use,_polices in the.affected area.
