NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE
BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA
Docket No. 05080044V
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Zoning Appeals of the City of
Carmel, Indiana ("Board of Zoning Appeals"), meeting on the 26th day of September, 2005,
at 6:00 o'clock p.m., in the Council Chambers, Second Floor, City Hall, One Civic Square,
Carmel, Indiana 46032, will hold a Public Hearing regarding a request for approval of a
development standard variance identified above (the "Variance") pertaining to the real estate
(the "Real Estate") described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
The Real Estate is zoned RIIResidential and is approximately 12.40 acres in size, and
is generally located east of Keystone Avenue, north of 136th Street, and south of 146th Street
and south of Laura Vista Drive, Carmel, Indiana, in Hamilton County, Indiana.
To permit residences with side-loaded garages, the Variance is requested to allow a
reduction in the front yard set back for residences with side-loaded garages. Copies of the
Variance are on file for examination at the Department of Community Services, One Civic
Square, Carmel, IN 46032, telephone 317/571-2417.
All interested persons desiring to present their views on the above proposed Variance,
either in writing or verbally, will be given an opportunity to be heard at the above-mentioned
time and place.
Written objections to the proposed Variance that are filed with the Department of
Community Services prior to the Public Hearing will be considered and oral comments
concerning the proposed Variance will be heard at the Public Hearing.
The Public Hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
