DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST
BFS Diversified Products, LLC (Firestone) requests a variance
of Chapter 25.7.02-10(b) to allow the permitted wall sign for the
Two Parkwood office building to be located on the east fa~ade
of the building, rather than the permitted south fa~ade which
faces 96th Street. The ordinance allows a 115 square foot sign to
be located on the south fa~ade facing 96th Street. This variance
would permit a 105.7 square foot sign to be placed on the east
fa~ade of the building. The sign will consist of illuminated
channel letters with day/night plex faces. Thus, the faces will be
black duri,ng the day and white (or "off-white") during the night,
similar to most of the existing wall signs in Parkwood Crossing.
