Although the Comprehensive Plan designates the portion of the lot in question as single
family residential, once the lot is bisected by Illinois street extended, residential
development on the portion in question left lying east of Illinois Street extended is no longer
appropriate, since all of the adjacent real estate is either currently developed or zoned for
commercial purposes.
