Dear Members:
.The Carmel Plan Commission offers you the following report on the application (Docket No. 04100031 Z)
of the Lauth Property Group petitioning the Commission for a favorable recommendation to rezone a
property located northwest of Old Meridian Street and Old MeridianlUS 31 (commonly known as North
Meridian Medical Pavilion) from the S-2/Residence Zoning Classification to the B-6/Business Classification.
Th~ Carmel Plan Commission's recommendation on the petition of the applicant is "FAVORABLE."
At its regularly scheduled meeting on November 16, 2004, the Carmel Plan Commission. voted nine (9) in
Favor, zero (0) Opposed, zero (0) Abstaining, to forward to the Common Council the proposed Ordinance
No. Z-468-04 with a Favorable Recommendation.
Please be advised that by virtue of the Plan Commission's Favorable Recomm~ndation, pursuant to IC.36-7-
4-608(f)(4), the Councilhas ninety (90) days to act on this.petition before itbecoines effective as Certified
by the Commission. Ninety days from the date of this Certification (November 18, 2004) is Wednesday,
February 16, 2005.

NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF
AN AMENDMENT TO THE CARMEL/CLAY
ZONING.MAP
Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the. City of Carmel and . Clay Township, Hamilton County,
Indiana, that the proper legal officers of the City of Carmel met at their regular meeting place, Council Chambers,
Carmel" City Hall, One Civic Square, Carmel, IN 46032, at 7 :00 p.m. on Monday, the 20th day of December, 2004,
and adopted the following:
Ordinance No.. ~468-04, rezoning part of Tax Parcel I.D.No. 17-09-35~Ol-01-004.000 (commonly known as
North Meridian Medical Pavilion), generally located northwest of the intersection of Old Meridian Street and
Meridian Street (US 31), from the S-2/Residence and B-3!Business zoning. classifications to the B-6/Business
zoning designation.
Ordinance No. Z-468-04 affects only a part oftheaforementi'oned Tax Parcel.
Ordinance No~Z-468-04 does not amend any provision of the. Carmel/Clay Zoning Ordinance regarding penalties
or forfeiture prescribed for a violation of the ordinance.
The entire text. of Ordinance Z-468-04 is available for inspection in the Departme'nt of Community Services,
Division of Planning & Zoning, Third Floor, Carmel City Hall, One Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana; and in the
