Re: Village of WestClay- Section 10010 -E
Dear Mr. Duncan:
Enclosed please find one (1) set of Construction Plans and requested items
which were revised in accordance with your comment letter dated June 19, 2013.
Those comments were addressed as follows:
CONSTRUCTION DRAWING REVIEW COMMENTS
1. Noted. We have made some improvements to the frontage along 126th
Street and 131St Street per the Thoroughfare Plan however, the developer
plans to submit a monetary commitment for the difference. This estimate will
be submitted separately for review.
2. The adjacent landowners have been added to the Plat.
3. The portion of the median on Main Street to be removed has been added to
the plans on Sheet C101 and in more detail on Sheet 0403.
4. The "Contractor to verify demolition of drive" note has been updated to state
drive shall be removed if demolition has not already been completed.
5. We have added another label to C.A. #6 as a blanket R.D.E. and verified that
the storm sewer pipe is covered by the blanket drainage easement within the
common area.
6. House fits will be verified prior to construction to assure there are no
encroachments into the easements.
7. Yes we have verified the left turn lane for Featherbell Boulevard will align with
the existing opposing turn lane on Main Street.
8. A 70 -ft. half right of way for 131St Street has been shown /labeled on Sheet 5
of the Plat and throughout the Construction Plans.

25. Revisions were made to obtain the 2.5 feet of cover. However, also providing
a 0.10' drop through each structure, existing perimeter elevations or sanitary
pipe conflicts dictated that we could not provide this cover on Structure #441
(1.61'), #440 (2.14') and #448 (2.32').
26. The sanitary sewer crossing between storm structures 454 -455 has been
added to the profile on Sheet C600.
27. The subsurface drain connections have been included on the storm sewer
profiles.
28. The sanitary and water note on C600 and C601 regarding trench details have
been removed.
29. Correct locations of the water main trench details have been updated on
Sheets C701 and C700 per your request.
