Blaine‐
That change is fine with me. Just wanted to make sure that you were meeting all federal ADA regs…
Please also let the Engineering Dept. know of this change, and I have also copied them on this email. If you can get me a
pdf of the final site plan, that would be great, too.
I will place a copy of this email in the file for Docket No. 13070002 ADLS Amend: Hamilton Crossing West, Building 3 ‐
Generator & Condensers.

Angie,
Thanks for all your help with the project above. Our superintendent called me this morning with an issue that has
cropped up as we plan for foundation installation of the screen wall. The green ADA ramp highlighted gets into the top
of the footer for the wall foundation. Since we went with a precast enclosure, and the panels are being placed on their
sides, it is not possible to get a variable edge at the place where the wall meets the top of the foundation. Therefore, to
maximize screening height, we would like to eliminate the ramp condition at the highlighted green location.
Approximately 30 feet on either side of the green area are two ADA ramps (one existing, one proposed). I believe these
will be adequate for providing wheeled access to the building. If it matters, the door closest to the green area is not an
accessible entry into the building. There is no push‐button actuator to open the door.
The proposed change would only eliminate the ramp. It would be a 6” concrete curb, and the proposed radius would be
maintained for good maneuverability into the parking stall. Can you please confirm if this change is acceptable to you?
Thanks for your time,
Blaine Paul
