THE DRAWING INDICATES THE GENERAL
SCOPE OF TNE PROJECT IN TERMS OF
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN CONCEPT, THE
DIMENSIONS OF TNE BUILDING, THE
MAJOR ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENTS AND
THE TYPE OF STUCTURAL, MECHANICAL,
ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS. AS SCOPE
DOCUMENTS THE DRAWINGS DO NOT
NECESSARILY INDICATE OR DESCRIBE
ALL WORK REQUIRED FOR FULL
PERFORMANCE AND COMPLETION OF THE

REQUIREMENTS. VARIOUS GOVERNING
AGENCIES SOMETIMES INTERPRET
CODES, IAWS ANp ORDINANCES
DIFFERENTLY. THESE AGENCIES HAVE
JURfSOfCTfON TO REQUfRE CHANGES
IN DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION. ANY
CHANGES OR MOpIFICATIONS TO THE
DESIGN MAY NECESSITATE PRICE
ADJUSTMENTS.
3. ALL FINISHES SHALL COMPLY WITH
FLAME SPREAD AND SMOKE
DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS AS LISTED IN
THE UNIFORM FIRE CODE AND THE
UNIF�RM BUILOfNG COOE.
4. ALL DIMENSIONS ARE FROM FINISHEO
FACE OF WALL TO FINISHED FACE OF
WALL.
5. VERIFY ALL EXISTING CONDITIONS
PRIOR TO THE START OF
CONSTRUCTION. NOTIFY DESIGNPLAN
INC. IMMEDIATELY OF ANY DIMENSIONAL
CONFLICTS OR CUNFLICTS DUE 70
UNKNOWN CONDIT�ONS. WORK SHALL
NOT PROCEED UNTIL CONFLICTS ARE
RESOLVED.
6. EACH CONTRACTOR SHALL SCRUTINIZE
ALL DRAWING SHE ETS TO DETERMINE
FULL EXTENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES
FOR EACH RESPE:CTIVE TRADE.
7. REVIEW ALL DRAWINGS
(ARCHITECTURAL, PLUMBING,
ELECTRICAL, HVAC) CONCERNING
SLEEVES, OUTLETS, BOXES, ANCHORS,
VENTS, OPENINGS, ECT. THAT MAY BE
REQUIRED. EACH RESPECTIVE TRADE
IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDiNG
AND INSTALLING THESE ITEMS.
8. ALL SUBCONTRACTORS SHALL PROVIDE
SHOP DRAWINGS TO DESIGNPLAN INC.
FOR REVIEW ON PRODUCTS OR WORK
PRIOR TO FABRICATION.
9. WHERE NIC = NOT IN CONTRACT, BY
OTHERS OR BY OWNER, APPEARS ON
THE DRAWINGS THE G.C. SHALL
COORDINATE AND VERIFY ANY AND
ALL SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OF
BLOCKING, HOOK—UP ETC. WITH THE
OWNER.
10. THE ERRORS AND OMISSIONS DESIGN
LIABILIIY FOR THE PROJECT SHALL BE
LIMITED TO THE DESIGN COST OF
CORRECTING THE DEFICIENCY.
11. G.C. TO TAPE, 5PACKLE, AND SAND
SMOOTH ALL WALL CONSTUCTION
AND PREPARE WALLS TO RECEIVE
FINISHES.
12. G.C. TO PROVIDE AND INSTALL ANY
MISCELLANEOUS BLOCKING AS
REQUIRED FOR ANY WALL MOUNTED
SHELViNG, EQUIPMENT OR ACCESSORIES.
13. EACI1 CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE
ALL BARRICADES, DUST PARTITIONS,
ETC. AS REQIJIRED BY LAW AND AS
OTHERWISE REQUIRED.
14. EACH CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO
REMOVE ALL CARTONS, B�XES,
PALLETS, PACKAGING, UNUSED
MATERIALS, TRASH AND DEBRIS
CAUSED BY HIS WORK FROM THE JOB
SITE.
