Apply 23 pounds of 12-12-12 analysis fertilizer (or equivalent) per 1000 sq. ft. (approximately 1000 pounds per acre) or fertilize according to test. Applicotion of 150 ibs. of ommonium nitrate on areas low in orga�ic matter ond fertility wiil greatly enhance vegetative growth. Work the fertilizer and lime into the soil to a depth of 2-3 inches • with a harrow, disk or roke operated ocross the slope as much os possible. Seeding Select o seed mixture based on projected use of the area (Figure 5-2), while considering best seeding dates. See Figure 5-3 this sheet.
