Docket No. 040110030 ADLS Amend' Bank One
The applicant seeks approval for new ground and wall signage. Thc site is located at 200
East Carmel Drive. The site is zoned B8/Business.
Filed by Bill Hutchison.
The applicant is requesting ADLS Amendment approval for a wall sign on the south elevation of
the subject building as well as replacing the existing ground sign. Please see informational packet
distributed with the agenda.
The Department is in support of the proposed ground sign. The applicant needs to verify that the
sign base will be brick in addition to the sides. A side elevation needs to be submitted for
review. It should be stated that the brick should match the building and specify the materials.
The Department is requesting the following modifications to the proposed wall sign:
1. Retums to match the building color.
2. Lowering of the sign to be located under the roof. As submitted the sign appears as
though it would be mounted to the gutter. This is not preferred.
The Department recommends that the Special Studies Committee approve the request after
all comments and concerns have been addressed.
Note: The item will also require approval by the Board of Zoning Appeals.
