The existing stormwater quality measures will remain in place until no ~osbn or siltation con toke piece. 3. The post construction measures used to minimize sedimentation in waterways include sumps in oil inlets, o B~P structure (^quo-Swirl manhole), and'$tormTech Isolator-Row in underground detention system. The sump in all. inlets in conjunction with the BMP structure and the Isolator Row will collect runoff from the pavement and filter it. The' dosig~ of the sump in the inlets will allow sediment to be partially *infiltrated out of the storm events before storm water enters the designed storm sewer system, Storm Grates wgl prevent large items from entering the storm pipes and leaving the site. The Bmp and Isolator Row wgl catch oil and other contaminants prior to them entering the underground detention system and cuase them to drop out prior to le0~g the site. 4. Catch basins, and ungergraund detention system locations ore provided on the drainage'plan. Details are provided on the Detail sheets. 5. Maintenance of oil Stormwater pollution prevention measures, will be the responsibility of the property owner, '[om Wood aonagement, inc., utilizing procedures outlined in the 0 & a manual for Post Construction water quality measures. The maintenance guidelines consist mostly of good housekeeping measure[ Any grassed areas ~ vegetated amos that experience erosion' from roinlatl events, should be *repaired as '* soon os possbie. 'trash or litter should be picked up and Pr0Perly disposed to prevent it from getting into the storm drainage system and downstream waterways. Erosion of the detention pond banks should be addressed as soon as it becomes visible by filling the eroded area with suitable soil and establishing vegetation immediotdy, perferably by sodding, or seeding and mulching and monitoring until suitable vegetation is established, The same 'measure should be used for steep bonls of any earth berm or any other steep oreo. The detention pond should also be monitored for sediment coming from the storm sewer system. If the bottom of the pond receives sediment, indicated by the sediment markers, it should be cleaned out and the source found and repaired, The dveation of the pond bottom should be checked ever7 8 to 10 ~ors and, if significant sediment is encountered, i[ should be removed from the basin, This should be done during periods of Iow rainfall to allow soil stirred up by excavation to settle out before o rain event. The detention pond outlet should be protected by adequate filtration (rip-rap. shown on these plans) to prevent soil from entering the offsite storm drainage s~stern. Pavement areas should also be monitored for pollutants. Any large quantity of fluids such as oil, antifreeze, broke fluid, etc, found on the pavement should be reported to the owner (md the source determined, if possible, md removed from the site for mointentonce or repair. Pavement should also be monitored for sediment coming from vegitated areas that drain onto the pavement. If sediment is found it should be cleaned off the pavement, and the source of the soil found and repaired as discussed above.
