The name on the sign will be "Tickle Your Fancy" with lettering below stating "hand painted ddcor" along with the number address "656". I have also include for your record a file-stamped copy of the sign permit application and original ADLS amendment along with a site plan and color rendition of the sign. The sign face will be 4' by 3' having a total square footage of 12', as allowed by the suspended sign ordinance for Old Town Carmel. Further the sign will be located 13.5' feet from the street and at least 5' from the sidewalk. The sign will be illuminated by a 60 watt can light that shines up to each side of the sign face. The sign is intended to fit in with the general theme and development standards that are being promoted by the Carmel Arts District. My client will be utilizing part of the location to house her art studio where she hand paints decorative furniture. 4394. Consequently, please note that my client is agreeable to make the following changes to her sign permit application: 1. Delete the tagline from the sign "unique gigs for you & your home" This deletion is being made in that my client, Lyn M. O'Brien is an artist that customizes furniture by painting said furniture. In essence the home occupation and home based business is a decorative furniture painting business. Consequently, please process said sign permit application based on this usage. To meet the requirements of the City of Carmel I have enclosed 9 packets of information along with this amendment.
