The vote was unanimous for the approval of this petition for Flanner Buchanan. 2h. Commission to, consider U.S. 31 Overlay Zone Development Plan and Architectural. Design, Lighting, Sign and Landscaping Application for .- j Meridian Mark North Office Building to be located at 11.911 N. Meridian St. in B-6 and U.S;. 31 Overlay Zones. Referred to Industrial and Com- mercial Committee and the Technical Advisory Committee for review and report. Filed by Rick Rembusch for Meridian Mile: Associates. Mr.. Rembusch was present. There was no committee report to present because the petitioner did not have enough material to review at the subcommittee meeting. Mr. Rembusch made the presentation, answering the Industrial and 'Com- mercial Committee questions, and explaining the Fertig, Drain situation. The site plan and a drawing were shown for the proposed office building for the Hewlett-Packard firm which is to be completed in two phases. The off site drainage issue was a Technical Advisory Committee concern and Mr. Rembusch made explanation showing an engineering drawing of the drainage plan. Sample building materials were shown. The lighting spillage plan, signage and a rendering showing the service access were shown and explained. John Deard'orf, project en• neer, explained Phase I for Hewlett-Packard. Mrs. Badger asked the number of windows. _ Mr. Rembusch said there would be 40 windows. Mr. 'Ellis questioned landscaping at the service access and the unloading of trucks and questioned how many trucks would be there at a time. �.... Mr. Deardorf explained relating that this will be primarily a sales and service: facility. Trucks will be there only temporarily.. The second phase of the project is viewed as an expansion and a growth of their functions. Mr. Albright questioned parking . Mr. Rembusch said there will be 172 parking spaces for the first phase and 323 spaces for the entire project when completed. An access drive was questioned by Mr. Davis and pointed out on the plan by 'Mr.. Rembusch. Mrs. Badger requested paper ballots. Mr. Albright moved that approval be granted, for 'this petition. Seconded .by Mr. Davis. Ballots were cast. The vote was 8 For, 1 Against (Mrs. Badger voting NO) . Motion carried. I . New Business, 1i. Club to be located on west side of AAA Way (across from Scheid Tire Co. ) in Keystone Square in B-4 zoning. Filed by Tom Ellis for Hoosier Motor Club. i ' Don henley Of Hoosier Motor Club made the presentation for two buildings on 2 acres:. The, size of the buildings will be 8 ,000 sq. ft and 5, 200 sq. ft. The Hoosier Motor Club will occupy space in the larger building and a renderingof that facility was shown.
