There are three photos from a distance showing the existing porte cochere and its relationship to the rest of the building. I have also attached the preliminary construction drawings showing the proposed renovations: • The bottom is to be raised from just under 11'-0" to allow 12'-8" clearance per new franchisee requirements • The arch and "steeple" above are being removed and being replaced by a classical style pediment façade type wall with straight lintel. • The existing "block" columns are being stripped of EIFS and rebuilt with a square profile in EIFS but with stone bases. There will be a vertical reveal in each face of the new columns. • There will be no work to the existing roof or overall footprint of the porte cochere, except where the new façade requires it.. • Colors and stone materials will match the newly installed and painted colors approved by Carmel last fall (and shown in the attached photos). 7 • Final drawings will be issued in the next few days.
