Attached please find the following approvals • Letter of Grant from the Department of Community Services • Email approval from the Carmel Fire Department • Acceptance Letter from Crossroads Engineering • Outlet permit from the Hamilton County Surveyor’s office • Approval email from Clay Township Regional Waste • State Building Release for CVS Building • State Building Release for Retail building We are in the process of obtaining the following • Carmel Engineering Department o The final requested documents per the attached email from Amanda Foley were delivered to the Engineering Department yesterday • Carmel Utilities Department o All documents have been submitted and we are waiting on a formal approval • Hamilton County Health Department o I spoke with Larry Beard this afternoon and will get him the required plans and application. He indicated we are not required to submit to them until 30 days prior to occupancy of the CVS, and we are not required to submit to them for the retail building. We anticipate having the following permits in the next fees days as our understanding is all we have to do is pay the fees. 7 • Stormwater Management Permit • Right-of-way Permit • Sewer Permit • Water permit Please let me know if we have to have all the permits in hand before you can initiate the review process for the building permit, or if you just need the approvals to initiate the review. I understand all permits will have to be paid for before we can get the building permit. We would really like to get a foundation release on the CVS Building by early next week. Thanks for your help. We are waiting on the foundation release to start. We plan to start digging Friday or Monday. We need to make sure we can have them inspected right away so we do not leave the trench open and exposed to the weather for too long. You will however need to pay our fees at the time of pick-up. The permit fees are below: 15 CVS Cost: $4,191.00 The Bridges Cost: $3,393.50 We accept exact cash or check. If paying by check, please make your check payable to City of Carmel. Our office is open for financial transactions from 8:00am until 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. On the multi-tenant building elevations, on the South elevation, there is now an added door, but that door does not have an awning. Please add an awning to it. This door is for the utility room only and will get used very little. Adding an awning over the door will conflict with the awning for the adjacent tenant door.
