I have been asked to estimate the permitting fees for the project, particularly for the Special Use Amendment. Because the project only disturbs a limited portion of the site, and the majority of the site is covered by existing soccer fields to remain, is there an alternate method of calculating the special use fee that only takes into account the present work? Dear Angie Conn, Planning Administrator, Here is the Application for Board of Zoning Appeals Action, Special Use Approval Request. As I stated on the phone this application has not been signed and the signed application will be forthcoming (you will have the signed version prior to the end of day Friday October 8, 2004). Per your telephone call on October 5, 2004 it is understood that this application is just a formality and this project will only be heard at the Technical Advisory Committee level (per your conversation with Jon Dobosiewicz regarding the receipt of the TAC submittal drawings on October 5, 2004). In the conversation you stated that since this was such a "simple petition" it would not have to go before the Board of Zoning Appeals. It is also understood that the fee will only be $250.00 as opposed to the original $750.00 stated fee and that had to be paid by the October 15, 2005 TAC meeting. I am also enclosing the original agreement sent by Jon Dobosiewicz where he stated it would only be a flat $750.00 fee for your reference/record. The list of adjoiners will also be included in the October 8, 2004 submittal. I have contacted Bill Akers, Carmel Clay Communications to verify the address that would be more applicable for this one building on the Site rather then the global address given. If there is anything else you would like to see along with this paperwork please let me know and I will include it. Thank you for all your time and assistance in this matter, Sheila M. Please respond or call me so we can discuss further. Kevin Roberts, PE Paul I. Cripe, Inc.
