I have reviewed the drawings and offer the following comments: URBAN FORESTRY REVIEW COMMENTS 1) Please add our city standard tree planting detail to the plan -attached. Our details require all transportation material to be removed including the wire basket. 2) Please label the caliper size of each tree to be installed. For shade trees, as proposed, 2.5" caliper is normally required. 3) Please add the address of the property and a bar scale to the landscape plan. 4) There are existing trees west of the proposed red obelisk beech. Please show these trees on the plan. It is important that this office be made aware of modifications made on the plans being re -submitted, particularly if any such changes are considered new or fall outside of our previous reviews. Please illustrate how these revisions will be addressed, including changes resulting from Plan Commission, Special Studies or other committee meetings by letter or revised plan. Please provide an update on this project. Also, if you have any contacts for the property, the mulching of the trees that was just completed is not to normal landscaping standards and should be done correctly for the health of the trees. I would be happy to meet someone at the site if there were questions. It is intended that the existing Fire Hydrant will remain and is shown on the attached Site Plan. 6. Will the ADA.ramp be a smooth concrete texture on its walls? Yes, the walls of the ADA ramp will be a smooth concrete texture (possibly painted a neutral gray). 7. Will. the parking lot be re -striped to be the exact same layout and number of parking spaces?
