On the plans submitted, the building square footage is listed as 4,134 ft.2 Prototype with a 2,079 ft,2 canopy. Does this indicate the total square footage for just the building without the canopy as 2.055 ft,2? If this is the correct building square footage, Water and Sanitary Sewer Connection Fees would be calculated as: Water - 2,055 ft,2 @ 0.5 EDUs/lOOO ft.2 = 1.028 EDUs @ $1,3l0.00/EDU = $1,347.00 Sanitary Sewers. - 2.055 ft.2 ({j) 0.5 EDUs/lOOO ft.2 = 1.028 EDUs ({j) $ 795.00/EDU = $ 817.00 Totals 2,005 ft.2 1.028 EDUs @ $2,105.00/EDU = $ 2,164.00 5. TAC Review/Drawings submitted for approval: \Ve request that all comments and comment letters generated by this office be answered in writing and be accompanied by a drawing reflecting requested revisions. Final drawings will not be approved for construction until all issues have been resolved. The design engineer must certify all drawings submitted for final approval. This office \vill require a minimum of five-sets of approved drawings after all issues have been resolved and the construction drawings have been approved. The drawings will be stamped approved and signed by the City Engineer and by the Director of Carmel Utilities. The Developer/Owner will receive one-set which is to be maintained on the construction site at all times. Carmel Utilities will receive t\vo-sets, Our Construction Manager will receive one-set and one- set \vill be maintained in the Department of Engineering. If more than the minimum five-sets are requested to be approved, the additional sets (maximum total of two additional) must be submitted with the five required sets. 6. Please be advised that any installation of signs, walls, irrigation systems, etc. within dedicated right of way and/or dedicated easements will require a Consent to Encroach Agreement between the O\\rner/Developer and the City of Carmel. This Agreement requires Board of Public Works and Safety approval. 7. Carmel Utilities does not subscribe to "Holey Moley" and should be contacted directly for all water and sanitary sewer main locations. 8. Carmel Utilities will provide a separate review of this project for water and sanitary sewer issues. 9. The following bonding requirements may apply to this project: Performance Guarantees It does not appear Performance and Maintenance Guarantees will be required. Street CutlRight of'Vay Permit and Bonding Requirements Any work in dedicated right of way of Hazel Dell Parkway will require a Right of Way Permit and a License and Permit Bond. The bond amount will be determined by the number of instances of work in the right of way (c9mmercial curb cuts, storm sewer work, etc.) @ $2,000.00 per instance. Ooen paVel11ent cuts in dedicated streets require approval bv our Board of Public Works and Safetv. It appears that there is at least one instance applicable to this project, namely from storm structure Al to the existing structure in the right of way. Please contact Fred Glaser, Department of Engineering Right of Way Inspector/Manager for details regarding this issue. CONSTRUCTION PLAN COMMENTS 11. Please make subsequent submittals on 24" x 36" plan sheets. 12.
