Dear Mr. Reis.
At the meeting held Monday, November 25, 2013, the Carmel Advisory Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer
took the following action regarding the Developmental Standards Variances (V) filed by you for the property located
at 1430 S. Rangeline Road.
APPROVED: Docket Nos. 13110001 V through 13110003 V: Development Standards Variances for number of signs (3
requested, 2 allowed), wall sign not facing street frontage (north facade); and wall sign height (70% of spandrel panel
height, about 97% requested).
Please be advised that per Section 30 05.05 • Time Limit of the Zoning Ordinance, the aforementioned Development
Standard Variance approvals are valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one -time, six -month extension of the approvals must have
been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is November 25, 2016.
Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
