I GENERAL:
A. SCOPE OF WORK:
i. PRONDE ALL MATERIALS, TOOLS AND LABOR REWIRED TO INSTALL THE
INDICATED ELECTRICA� WORK IN ACCORDANCE W1TH THESE DRAWINGS AND
THESE SPECIFICATIONS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SECURE AND PAY FOR
AlL PERMITS, FEES, INSPECiIONS AND APPROVALS.
2. ALL POWER OUTAGES SHALL BE FOR A MINIMUM DURATION ON OFF HOURS
AND CLOSELY COORDINATED W1TH THE OWNEft. ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR
SHALL PROViDE A TYPE4/RITiFN METH00 OF PROCEDURE FOR EACH
OUTAGE (ON FORM PROVIDED BY THE OWNER) AND OBTAIN OWNER
APPROVA� PRIOR TO EACH OUTAGE.
3. IN ORDER TO MEET THE PROJECi SCHEDULE THE FOLLO'MNG EQUIPMENT
HAS BEEN PURCHASED BY OTNERS. 7HE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL
RECEI�E iHE EQUIPMENT AT THE JOB SITE CURB AND PROVIDE ALL
NECESSARY TOLLS, MATERIAL AND LABOR FOR RECEIVING fROM TRUCKING
COMPANY AND INSTALLING THIS EQUIPMENT.

8. NSIT TO SITE: CONTRACTOR SHALL NSIT SITE AND FULLY INFORM HIMSELF OF THE NATURE OF
iHE WORK AND CONDITIONS, AND OBTAIN ALL NECESSARY INFORMAiION TO BID AND EXECUTE
THE WORK.
G CODES: ALL WORK AND MATERIAL SHALL COMPLY WITH THE LAiEST EDITION OF THE NATIONAL
ELECTRICA� CODE, NATIONAL ELECTRIC SAFEN CODE, IBC, OSHA,
AND LOCAL MUNICIPAL RE6ULATIONS.
D. ALL LOCAL FEES, DISPOSAL COSTS, PERMITS, AND INSPECTION COSTS SHALL 8E PAID FOR BY THE
CONTRACTOR.
E. CONTRACTOR SHALL SUBMIT A GUARANTEE THAT THE INSTALLATION IS IN ACCORDANCE W1TH T}IE
DRAWINGS, APPLICABLE CODES, AWD IN ACORDANCE WITH THE MANUFACTURERS
RECOMENDATIONS, THAT THE INSTALLATION SHALL BE FREE OF DEFECTS IN MATERIAL AND
WORKMANSHIP FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR.
F. ALL GROUNDING SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH NAItONAL ELECTRIC CODE AND
ALL CLIENT STANDARDS.
G. EQUIPMENT LOCATIONS SHO'hN ON THE DRAMANGS ARE APPROXIMATE.
H. ADJUST INSTALLATION IOCATIONS OF CONL�UIT, AND OTHER EQUIPMENT TO PREVENT
INTERFERENCE.
I. ALL CUTfING, PATCHING ETC. SHALL BE PREPARED BY SKILLED MECHANICS OF THE TRADE AT NO
ADDITIONA� COST TO THE OWNER. FIRE SEAL ALL FLOOR, WALL, AND CEILING PENETRATIONS USING
APPROVED UL PRODUCTS.
J. IN THE EVENT DEMOLITION WORK EFFECTS THE STRUCNRAI SUPPORT OF EXISTING DEVICES THAT
IS TO REMAIN IN SERVICE, IT SHALL BE RESUPPORTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE CODES.
K. CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE ALL DEBRIS RESULTING FROM CONSTRUCTION FROM iHE AREA EACH
DAY AND SHALL KEEP THE PREMISES CLEAN. THE BUILDING OWNER SHALL HAVE PRIORITY FOR
THE SELECTION OF SALVAGED MATERIAL AND E�UIPMENT. ANY EQUIPMENT AND MATERIAL SELECTED
TO REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF THE OWNER SHALL 8E REMOVED AND DELIVERED TO A LOCATION ON
SITE AS OESIGNAIED BY THE OWNER. MATERIAL AND EqUIPMENT NOT RETAINED BY THE 04lNER
SHALL BECOME PROPERTY OF THE CONiRACTOR AND SHALL BE PROMPTLY REMOVED FROM SITE
