The improvement location permit (building permit) shall be issued when the proposed structure, fmprovement or use and its loca6on conform in all respects to this ordinance. The followinq must be received bY the DepaRment of£ommuniN Services before anV buildina or remodelinq pe�mit can be reviewed or issued bv staff �, ONE completed Improvement Locabon Permit (Building Permit) application. 2, TV'JO (2) complzte sets of construcUon plans. Building elevatlons, founda6on plan, floor plan and typical wall sec6on must be shown. All cross-sec5ons musRbe properly detailed and labeled. At lease one cross- section must show R-values of building materials to ensure compliance ��rith the Indiana Energy Codes. If minimum R-vzlues are not met on cross-sec5on an Energy Code Compliance Worksheet must be completed. If manufactured trusses are used, a diagrammust be incfuded with building plans for all Vusses being used. Truss diagrams musf be stamped with the seal of the registered archrtect or engineer who is responsible for that design. Only Indiana registrations will be recognized. If a commercial construction, plzns must be stamped aoproved bY the Indiana State Deoartment of Fire Prevention & Buildinq SafeN. Indicate total height of building on plans. 3. ONE copy of sewer permit (from Cfty of Carmel Engineering Dept.,.Hamilton Western Ublities or Clay Regional Sewer Distnct whichever applies), or septic permit (Hamilton County Health Department). 4. ONE (1) copy of plot plan from subdivision development pfan. 5. NJO (2) copies of a site plan or plot plan showing the following REQUIRED information (can be obtained from the landowner or developer): —Name and address of designer of plan with date —Name and address of owner —Lot number and subdivision or applicable general description —Lot drawn to scale — all dimensions —Scale and north arrow —loVProperty lines —Minimum front building setback line per approved development plan(nclude allYront yard) —All roads, alleys, rights-of-way, etc. —All other utilities and drainage rights-of-way and easements —Any aoplicable flood plain area (Elevatlon Cer�ficate if necessary) —Building pad elevation and lot corner elevations —AII accessory buildings— ebsting or proposed —Ali sidewalks and driveways —Sewer and water lines, sepfic system (tanks 8 filed system) and well location —Drainage flow arrows —All drainage swales and subsurface facili6es (retention/detenlion areas, etc.) —Sump pump (sump pumo prts) showing discharge locabons —Geothermal heat pump discharge IocaOOns If land is not within a platted subdivision, a legal description is needed.
