The improvement location permit(building permit) shall be issued when the proposed structure, improvement or use and its locatlon conform in all respects to this ordinance. The followina must be received bV the Deoartment of Communiry Services before anY buildinq or remodelinq permit can be reviewed or issued bv staff: 1, ONE completed Improvement Location Permit(Building Permit) application. 2. 11N0 (2) complete sets of construction plans. Building elevations, foundation plan, floor plan and typical wall section must be shown. All cross-secfions must be properly detailed and labeled. At lease one cross- secUOn must show R-values of building matenals to ensure compliance wi2h the Indiana Energy Codes. If minimum R-values are not met on cross-section an Energy Code Compliance Wo:xsnee[rnus± oe completed. If manufactured trusses are used, a diagram must be incl.u;ed with building plans ior all irusses being used. Truss diagrams must be stamped with the seal oi the registered architect or engineer who is responsible for thztdesgn. Only Indiana regisUabons will be recognized. If a commercial consWction, plans must be stamped approved bv ihe lndiana State Department of Fire Prevention & Buiidinq SafetY Indicate total height ofbuilding on plans. 3. ONE copy of sewer permit (from City of Carmel Engineering Dept, Hamilton Westem Utilities or Clay Regional Sewer District whichever applies), or septic permR(Hamilton County Health Department). 4. ONE (1) copy of plot plan from subdivision development plan. 5.
