The improvement location permit (building permit) shall be issued when the proposed strudure, improvement or use and ils locabon conform in all respects to this ordinance. The followina must be received bv the Deparment of CommuniN Services before anv buildina or remodelina oermit can be reviewed or issued bv staff: 1. ONE compieted Improvement Loca6on Permit(Building PermR) application. 2. TWO (2) complete sets of construction plans. Building elevations, foundation plan, floor plan and typical wall section must be shown. All cross-sections must be property de?ailed and lab�led. At lease one cross- section must show R-values ef building matenals to ensu:e compliance with tfie Indiana Energy Codes. If minimum R-values are not met on cross-section an Energy Code Compliance Wo:ksneei must be completed. If manufadured trusses are used, a diagram must be included with building plans iur all truss2s being used. Truss diagrams must be stamped with the seal oi the re�istered architect or engineer who is res�onsible for that design. Only Indiana registrations will be recognized. If a commercial construction, olans must be stamped aoproved bv the Indiana State Department of Fire Prevention 8 Buildinq Safetv Indicate total height of building on plans. 3. ONE copy of sewer permit (from City of Carmel Engineering Dept, Hamilton Western Udlities or Clay Regional Sewer District whichever applies), or septic permit(Hamilton County Health Department). 4. ONE (1) copy of plot plan from subdivision development plan. 5. TWO (2) copies of a site plan or plot plan showing the following REQUIRED information (can be obtained from the landowner or developer): —Name and address of designer of plan with date —Name and address of owner —Lot number and subdivision or applicable general description ' —Lot drawn to scale —ali dimensions —Scale and north arrow —Lot/Prooerty lines —Minimum front building setback line per approved development plan (nclude all front yard) —All roads, alleys, rights-of-way, etc. —Ail other utilities and drainage rights-of-way and easements —Any applicable flood plain area (Elevabon Certificate if necessary) —8uilding pad elevation and lot comer elevations —All accessory buildings— ebsting or proposed —All sidewalks and driveways —Sewer and water lines, septic system (tanks& filed system) and well location —Drainage flow arrows —All drainage swales and subsurface facili�es(retention/detenbon areas, etc.) —Sump pump (sump pump pits) showing discharge locatlons —Geothermal heat pump discharge locations tf land is not within a platted subdivision, a legal description is needed.
