CARMEL ZONING ORDINANCE Z-289, SECI'ION 29.42(3): The Director, Department of Community Services(orstafn
shall approve or deny the improvement location permit(building permit) within five (5)workina davs of the receipt of the
written applicadon forin and accompanying materials. The improvement location permit(building permit) shall be issued
when the proposed structure, improvement or use and its location conform in all respects to this ordinance.
The followinq must be received bVthe Deoartment of Communitv Services before anv buildina or remodelina �ermit can be
reviewed or issued bv staff:

minimum R-values are not met on cross-section an Energy Code Coinpliance Worksheet must be
completed. If manufactured trusses are used, a diagram must be included with building plans for all trusses
being used. Truss diayrams must be stamped wiih the seal of the registered archt:ect cr engineer who is
