The improvement locadon pertnit(building pertnit) shall be issued when the proposed structure, improvement or use and its location conform in all respecis to this ordinance. The followina must be received bv the Deoartment of Communitv Services before anv buildina or remodelina oermit can be reviewed or issued bv staff: 1. ONE completed Improvement Location Permit(Buiiding Pertnit) application. 2. TWO (2) complete sets of construction plans. Building elevations, foundatlon plan, floor pfan and typical wall section must be shown. All cross-sectio�s must be properly detailed and labeled. At lease one cross- section must show R-values of building materials to ensure compliance with the Indiana Energy Codes. If minimum R-values are not met on :,ross-section an Energy Code Compliance Worksheet must be completed. If manufactured trusses are used, a diagram must be included with building plans for all Wsses being used. Truss diagrams must be stamped with the seal of the registered architeci or engineer who is responsible for that design. Only Indiana registrations will be recognized. If a cammercial construction, plans must be stamoed.aooroved bv the Indiana State Deoartment of Fre Prevention & 8uiidina Safetv Indicate total height of building on plans. 3. ONE copy of sewer permd(from City of Carmel Engineering Dept, Hamilton Westem Utli�es or Clay Regional Sewer District whichever applies), or septic pertnd(Hamilton Counly Health Departrnent). 4. ONE (1) copy of plot plan from subdivision development plan. 5. 7W0 (2) copies of a site plan or plot plan showing the following REQUIRED infortna6on (can be obtained from the landowner or developer): —Name and address of designer of plan with date —IVame and address of owner —Lot number and subdivision or applipble general description —Lot drawn to scale—all dimensions —Scale and north arrow —LaVProperty lines —Minimum front building setback line per approved development plan (include all front yard) —All roads, alleys, rights-of-way, etc. —All other utilities and drainage righ�-of-wayand easements —Any appiiqble flood plain area (Elevalion Certifipte if necessary) —Building pad elevation and lot comer eievaaons —All accessory buiidings— ensting or proposed —All sidewalks and driveways —Sewer and water lines, septic system (tanks &filed system) and well loption —Drainage flow arrows —All drainage swales and subsurFace fadli�es (retentioNdetentlon areas, etc.) —Sump pump (sump pump pits) showing discharge locaaons —Geothertnal heat pumo discnarge loqdons Hland is not within a platted subdivision,a legal description is needed.
