To Whom It May Concern:
At the request of Weber Concrete Construction, I inspected the new basemenl for the home
just started ha the new Aberdeen Bend development. The project had been red tagged by the
City of carmel because the walls had not been braced prior to backfilling.
My inspection revealed that the walls are square, stralghl, and plumb, The walls have
numerous comers that act as buttresses to stiffen the walls. I saw no signs of crackh~g.

Sarah,
I spoke with Mike of Arbor Homes and told him I would go out to the general site and take a look at the closet fire
hydrant. I found one directly across from the drfve leading into the site. Mike also told me ~hat pavement should
be in by Fdday, as of now there are curbs in and gravel. The developer is hoping permanent water with be tested
and in service within bvo weeks. I feel comfortable in allowing them to start their model, as I have a water supply
in proximity,
Thanks you,
Gary Hoyt

Re: Aberdeen Bend, Lot #9- Early Release
Dear Kevin:
We formally submit in order to obtain an early release for our model The purpose for
this early release is to take advantage of the current weather conditions to dig and pour
the basement. As I am sure you are aware, even a month can make a huge difference
going into the autumn and winter season especially when excavation, basement pours
and concrete curing is involved. Our request is also based upon the fact that all the
necessary infra-structure is in place which will support this request. The single
exception, aa I discussed yesterday with Mr. Gary Dunkin with the City Engineer's office,
involves the lack of pavement throughout the entire section which, according to Mr.
Dunkin ia a policy of the City Engineer's office. Nevertheless, policy notwithstanding, we
are willing to commit to placing barricades at the end of the paved section to protect the
subgrade. Further we will also commit to restricting work to the necessary erosion
control measures, dig, form and pour the basement and framing only. Any additional
activity will require that the remainder of the section he paved up to the binder course.
In addition to this letter please find enclosed: Executed Application,
I confirmed the address with Mr. William Akers as 13075 Aberdeen Way,
Four copies of the Plot Plan,
Two full sets of architectural plans with a copy of the typical wall section and
truss details,
A conditional sewer permit,
I confirmed with Mr. Paul Pace that water service was not an issue and I also
confirmed with Mr. Gary Hoyt that fire protection was not an issue as well (e-mall
copy enclosed),
I also confirmed with Pam Day with Equicor that all the appropriate availability
fees have been paid.
To repeat, our request is to take advantage of the late summer weather to install the lot
erosion control, basement and frame the structure only. The time required for these
three activities alone will cover the time Pam Day with Equicor has indicated it will take
to completely pave the section by the end of September.
