Additional soil was excavated and transported off-site. The followang locauons within the West Pit were re-sampled on December 20, 2004: North Bottom-Retest (NBOT-R) Center Bottom - Retest (CBOT-R) South Bottom - Retest (SBOT-R) LABO..RATORY ANALYSIS All soil samples were delivere.d to Pace Analytical Ser~i.'ces, In¢, !nd', _m~po~, Indiana, for independent laboratory analysts. All samples were analyzed for Tqtal Pet, r0.t.e ~mn . Hydrocarbons (TPH) in accordance with U,S. EPA method 8015 for Vo~ame mange orgamc compounds, A complete copy ofe.ach analytical report is attached. Laboratory results for all s~apling events are summarized in the attached tables. SUM3~ARY Contaminated soil.discovered during construction activities was e.x~cavated an? properly disposed of. Confirmatory soil samples were taken to determine i/all contamination had been removed. Additional excavation was necessary in the West Pit. This area was re- sampled fo[lowing excavation..Soil samples were delivered to an independent laboratory for analysis.
