Dear Mr Niemier:
At the meeting held Tuesday,January 28,2014, the Carmel Advisory Board of Zoning Appeals took the following action
regarding the Developmental Standards Variances(V)filed by you for the property located at 10679 North Michigan
Road.
APPROVED:Docket Nos.13120014 V, 13120015 V and 13120016 V: Development Standards Variances for minimum
rear yard of 4 feet(15 feet required);one two feet deep projection(eight feet deep projections required every 60 feet);and
3 feet wide plantings along front of sidewalks(10 feet wide foundation plantings required).
Please be advised that per Section 30.05.05: Time Limit of the Zoning Ordinance,the aforementioned Development
Standard Variance approvals are valid for three(3)years.By that time,either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway,or a written request for a one-time,six-month extension of the approvals must have
been received and approval granted by this Department.The expiration date of the approval is January 28,2017.
Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
